For this Clio Award–winning campaign, I led the Creative Direction from concept to launch on an 6-part mini-series shot in Thailand, starring Evan Ross Katz and The White Lotus Season 3 actor Nicholas Duvernay.
Released in real time alongside each episode, each spot mirrored a live White Lotus plotline, creating narrative synchronicity across HBO Max, talent social media platforms, and premium media placements.
The result was not just branded content — it was cultural participation.
THE ITINERARY
Season 3 of The White Lotus turned phone dependence into a plot engine. Even in paradise, they couldn’t disconnect.
In our opening episode, instead of portraying Pixel as another device demanding attention, we show how Gemini on Google Pixel removes the friction fast — building an itinerary in seconds, answering questions instantly — so he can actually put the phone down.
The message is counterintuitive but powerful — the right AI doesn’t trap you in your phone. It can free you from it.
THAI SPICY
In The White Lotus, local cuisine can feel intimidating when you don’t recognize the ingredients. Google Pixel doesn’t remove the adventure — it removes the guesswork. But can YOU handle Thai Spicy?!
THAI MASSAGE
Inspired directly by a White Lotus plotline, this episode explores the irony of being stressed about relaxation.
Creatively, we leaned in to the fact that most people don’t even know what a Thai Massage is — while Gemini quietly eliminates the guesswork.
The result: Pixel becomes the calm presence that lets the character actually exhale.
MUAY THAI
This episode launched alongside a high-intensity Muay Thai ringside fight in the show. Nicholas, it turns out, has real skills to show off. Evan… does not.
Outmatched physically, Evan leans into his actual strength — pulling spoilers out of interviewees. Some fights you win. Some spoilers you don’t.
PHOTOGRAPHER
What happens when no one is around to take the photo? Nooo problem — Google Pixel has got your back. Watch out for the monkeys though.
FULL MOON PARTY
In Season 3 of The White Lotus, the Full Moon Party becomes a major plot point — a chaotic, neon-lit collision of freedom, impulse, and consequence. We built our episode to run alongside that cultural crescendo.
